RASABALI

Rasabali is a aunthentic sweetdish of odisha. It is one of the chappan bhog of Lord Jagannath.

Ingredients Required

1. milk 1/2 ltr

2.elaichi powder ½ tsp

3.powdered sugar 2_3 tsp

4.maida 1 tsp

5.sooji 1 tsp

6.olive oil or Refine oil requird to deep fry

Preparation

First we have to curdle the milk by using l, curd or vinegar.

Then, drain the curdled milk and add cardamom powder, powdered sugar, 1 spoon maida and 1 spoon sooji to it and make a supple dough.

Put 2 drops of oil in your palm and spread it all over .

Then start making flattened balls by the prepared dough.

Heat oil /ghee in a kadhai and deep fry these flattened balls.

In the other side start boiling  the  raw milk in low flame for 10 to15 minutes , then add sugar and cardamon to it and stir for 5 minutes.

Lastly add the brown fried flattened balls to the milk and let it boil for 3 mins  more in low flame .

Now rasabali is ready, you can have it after the temperature becomes normal. This dessert trace it’s origin from kendrapara, odisha, it is a unique dish and very much easy to prepare and a drolling one also. It hardly takes any time to prepare.
